Gravestone Photographs Resource: send a message to someone who requested a photo

Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Ella Pirrie with the following comment:

I am a member of Women's History Scotland, which is trying to put women back into Scottish history. One current project is mapping memorials of women ( see womenofscotland.org.uk). There is a fine new statutue commemorating Isabella (Ella) Pirrie - outside the City Hospital in Belfast, where she pioneered modern nursing practices. Then she was first Deaconess Superintendent of the Church of Scotland Deaconess Hospital, Edinburgh, which trained missionary women from 1894-1914. So I am interested to see if the grave memorial mentions any of this. You are doing a wonderful job - somewhat along the same lines. I'm sorry you get so little thanks for it - I expect people are too busy admiring your pictures.Lindy Moore
